Wait for an email from Amazon or sign up immediately<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this step, you can either wait to receive an email from an Amazon account representative, or sign up to start selling right away. For any months that you do not have any active listings, you will not be charged the $39.99 for that month. Once you have an active product for sale, you will be charged again. You can downgrade to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/?p=22937\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">individual seller account<\/a> at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wolf-block wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Enter your email and select ‘Create a New Account’<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you’ve chosen the seller plan that is right for you, the following window will appear where you’ll be asked to enter your email address and a password (of your choosing) for your seller account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you’re done, click the ‘Create your Amazon account’ button.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wolf-block content-035-block image-block mx-auto\" id=\"block_48de2a2f7d4bb223227ac8ae88d1c5cf\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/sc-create-acct.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"393\" height=\"513\">\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This will take you to a second screen stating you must enter a verification code sent to your email. Choose your ‘Business location’ and ‘Business type’<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step in the Amazon seller registration process is to share the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your business location: <\/strong>This is the country in which your business is located. It’s extremely important that this is accurate, as Amazon will be verifying it (see step 10).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Your business type: <\/strong>You’ll be able to choose your business entity from the following options (most fall into the ‘Privately-owned’ category):\n<ul>\n<li>State-owned business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publicly-owned business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Privately-owned business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>None, I am an individual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don’t have a business formed just yet, choose “None, I am an individual.” If you choose this, Amazon will ask for your full name in the next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Your full name: <\/strong>Make sure you enter your first, middle, and last name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wolf-block content-035-block image-block mx-auto\" id=\"block_4c6c907b53c9218ff93ae6a6a4d872f1\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screen-Shot-2023-01-27-at-11.55.15-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"3002\" height=\"1428\">\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, click the ‘Agree and continue’ button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wolf-block wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Enter your personal information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, you’ll be asked to provide Amazon with a number of personal details. This includes a form of identification (either your passport number or your driver’s license).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To move onto the next step, you will need to verify your phone number through a text or call. Enter your billing information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your next step will be to provide Amazon with your billing information. Add the information for your product(s) and Amazon store<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After you supply your credit card information and it has been validated, you’ll be asked a few questions about your Amazon store and the products you plan to sell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To move onto the next phase of the Amazon seller registration process, you’ll need to answer the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The name of your Amazon store (don’t think too much about this, you can change it in the future)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whether or not you have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/blog\/buy-upc-codes-for-amazon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UPC codes<\/a> for your product(s) (if you’re not sure, just click “Yes”)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have any diversity certifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are the manufacturer and\/or brand owner of the product(s) you’re selling\n<ul>\n<li>If you click ‘Yes’ or ‘Some of them’ you’ll be asked: Do you own a government-registered trademark for the branded products you want to sell on Amazon?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wolf-block content-035-block image-block mx-auto\" id=\"block_114e6087b69415d69d230fd2b8db9de5\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screen-Shot-2023-01-27-at-12.04.23-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1696\" height=\"1436\">\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the ‘Next’ button after you’ve provided the answers to those questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wolf-block wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Identity verification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, you’ll be asked to verify your identity by uploading images of your ID (license or passport) and a bank statement.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wolf-block content-035-block image-block mx-auto\" id=\"block_7b1e6c9d54df7de2589d78b178a2d31d\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screen-Shot-2023-01-27-at-12.05.39-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1616\" height=\"1398\">\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After you upload your documents, click Submit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After submitting all of your documents, you will need to complete an Identity Verification via video call with an Amazon associate. This is so they can verify all of your documents and personal information you provided. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, this is now part of the process so we suggest doing it as soon as possible so you can start selling products on Amazon. You may have an option to take a call at the end of your application. If you cannot at that time, you can schedule an appointment for a future date and time.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wolf-block content-035-block image-block mx-auto\" id=\"block_c411c10de07faee1c8ed669e2e4c4319\">\n <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.junglescout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Screen-Shot-2023-01-27-at-12.10.02-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1294\" height=\"1352\">\n <\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you’re verified, you’re in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be on the safe side, we recommend setting up 2-step verification on your Amazon seller account, for increased security.
